Spot Someone Smoking on Campus? Here's What You Can Do!

National Tsing Hua University is proud to be a 100% smoke-free campus. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor and outdoor areas across campus.

Anyone found smoking on campus may be subject to a fine ranging from NT$2,000 to NT$10,000, in accordance with Taiwan's Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act.

How to Report a Violation

If you witness someone smoking on campus, you can:

• 📞 Call the Tobacco Hazards Complaint Hotline: 0800-531-531 (available through Taiwan's local phone system).
• 🏢 Contact the local Public Health Bureau.

Help Us Investigate

To assist the authorities, please provide as much information as possible, such as:

• 👤 The person's name (if known)
• 🆔 National ID or other identifying information (if available)
• 📍 Date, time, and location
• 📷 Photos or videos of the violation

Don't worry if you don't know the person's identity. Reports can still be submitted with supporting evidence such as photos or videos. Once your report is received, the local Public Health Bureau will investigate and take appropriate action.
